DAY 1 : Arrival Cochin – Munnar [4 hrs / 135 KM]
Arrive in Cochin. We will receive you at either the Cochin International airport or Ernakulam Railway Station or the Bus Station (depend on your mode of travel).
Drive to Munnar. The romantic beauty of nature will enthrall you on this drive from Cochin to Munnar.
The aroma of tea leaves emanating from the tea-estates all around and the symphony of the two beautiful waterfalls: Cheyyappara Waterfalls & Valara waterfalls will add to that magical touch of togetherness.
We will check you in at the resort once we arrive and then leave you to enjoy the day at your leisure. You can enjoy the serene solitude that this place gives you together. You can watch the sun setting into the beautiful valleys and then return to your room for a refreshing night. -

DAY 2 : Munnar Sightseeing
After a delicious breakfast served at the resort, you can set out for a romantic sightseeing tour of Munnar.
This tour will start off with a drive up to the Eravikulam National Park on top of the Rajamalai Mountain where you are walking along the clouds. This is then followed by the Mattupetty Dam, the Tea Estates, Echo-point, Spice plantation, Rose Garden, Photo point, Tea Museum, Blossom Park, Kundale Dam and ending off with the Top Station.
You can also enjoy boating in the lake, rock climbing and trekking (all optional).
Once you have seen some of the sights that Munnar has to offer, we will return to the hotel in the evening. You can enjoy the rest of the day at the hotel and relax. -

DAY 3 : Munnar – Thekkady [2.5hrs/90KM]
After a scrumptious breakfast, you and your sweetheart can start off on the scenic journey to Thekkady amidst mist capped mountains, spice plantations, and open grasslands.
Upon arrival, you can check-in at the hotel and rest for a while. After that, you can leave for an enjoyable wildlife safari through the Periyar Tiger Reserve.
Fun Fact: This particular wildlife sanctuary in Thekkady spreads across 777 sq. Kms. Around 360 sq. Kms of it is a thick evergreen forest. This sanctuary was declared a Tiger reserve in 1978 as it is acclaimed for its geomorphology, wildlife diversity and the breath-taking scenery.
There are optional activities like a boat ride on the Periyar Lake, a jeep safari, visit a spice plantation and ride on an elephant all that you can opt for at an extra cost.
After the safari, you can return to your hotel and have a relaxing night. -

DAY 4 : Alleppey Houseboat [4hrs/150KM]
After a delicious breakfast, you and your sweetheart can drive off to Alleppey – The Venice of the East.
Upon arrival at around 1 pm, you can check in on a houseboat arranged by us. You will be greeted with a welcome drink and will be provided with tea, snacks, mineral water, lunch, dinner and finally, breakfast (the next day).
While you cruise around the backwaters, let yourself get carried away by the beauty that surrounds you: the bowed-down paddy fields, the local inhabitants, rustic homes, the ancient churches and temples and the swaying coconut groves.
You can go to sleep in the middle of the lake under the nascent night sky. -

DAY 5 : Alleppey – Cochin Departure [2.5hrs]
After a hearty breakfast, you can check out from the hotel and proceed to Cochin. We can arrange shopping and sightseeing tours depending on the time of your flight/train/bus. You can now return home filled with the romance-filled memories of your trip.
